Year:   2004
Title:   Clay Pigeon
Synopsis:   The option is given of two doors. One small and simple in appearance, the other impressive and promising many attractive treasures.
Lusting after the immediate pleasure of the large door our main character joins his "friends" as they pressure him into going along with them into what turns out to be certain danger! They are too enthralled by the lure of the treasure to realize the large door has lead them all into a giant oven! Our main character escapes but only by the skin of his teeth and the others are baked to a crisp!
In the end it is the small, simple, door that holds true and lasting value and leads to life. (Proverbs 14:12)

A sequel to Clay Soup this film takes place in the same clay "world."

Directors Notes:   This film features the very same background set that appears is Clay Soup.
A matter of fact, I also used the same set again (only styled quite differently) as a background for Mr. DoWrinklebon's house in the very end of "Why Did the Duck Cross the Road?"
And I'm sure I'll probably use it yet again in the future somehow - that's the beauty of stop-motion animation and set building - it's fun recycling!
